At the Caribbean Royale, Orlando, Florida, Friday with DAZN promoter Amaury Piedra of MVP Promotions presented in the Main Event Cuba's undefeated WBA Continental Latino Champion and #9 Super Welterweight Yoenis Tellez easily defeated ' Action' undefeated Joseph Jackson scored the only knockout.
In the Super Welterweight Main Event Yoenis Tellez 8-0 (6), #153.8, of Santiago de Cuba, Cuba, Orlando, FL, defeated Joseph 'Action' Jackson, 19-1 (15), #152.8, of Greensboro, NC , more than 10 laps apart.
In the second round, Tellez landed a solid left hook to the chin that hurt Jackson midway through the round giving referee Massimo Montanini an 8 count. Jackson did not react well to the referee when he stood up.
He did all he could by holding out through the round and absorbing quite a few punches without responding.
In the third round, Jackson recovered enough to use a jab against Tellez's hard punches. In the fourth round with Tellez ahead, Jackson landed a very low left hook at the bell that left Tellez in pain.
In the fifth round, Tellez stalked trying to cut off the ring as Jackson was in survival mode using a jab trying to avoid Tellez's hard punch. In the sixth round, Tellez turned south to take the round until the final seconds when Jackson landed some punches of his own.
In the seventh inning, Jackson ran the entire inning to get the out. Tellez stopped chasing and signaled him to start fighting. In eight rounds in the first minute Jackson was on top
Tellez lands him and then runs again.
In the 9th round, Tellez continued to dominate with left hooks to the body every time Jackson decided to stop running. In the tenth and final round after one minute, Tellez rocked Jackson with a left hook to the chin.
With just a minute left, a straight shot to the chin from Tellez shook Jackson. In the final seconds, Jackson landed his best right punch to Tellez's chin. It's too late to lose each round and the only survivor is Jackson. He ended up with swelling under his left eye.

In a rematch from October that ended in a split decision, lightweight co-main eventer Benigno Aguillar, 12-0-1 (4), #134.6, of Crescent City, FL, defeated Alexander Rios, 8-2 (3), #135.4 , by St. Cloud, FL, through 8 rounds of action.
In the final seconds of the first round, Aguillar had Rios in trouble. In the third round at the last minute, Rios performed excellently against Aguillar. In the fourth round, the fight continued with Rios once again finishing the stronger of the two.
In the fifth and sixth rounds, the back-and-forth action continued. In the seventh round, Rios continued to be the aggressor with Aguillar's counter puncher.
In the eighth and final round, due to a collision with the head, Aguillar suffered a cut on the cheekbone below the left eye. Both had their moments and Rios helped referee Frank Santore, Jr.

Lightweight DeMichael Harris, 11-0-1 (10), #132.2, of Decatur, GA, stopped Blas Ezequiel Caro, 11-8 (5), #131, of Rosario, Santa Fe, ARG, in the fifth round of Expected match 6 rounds.
In the fifth round, Caro was knocked down, forcing referee Massimino Montanini to stop the fight.
Featherweight Jan Paul Rivera, 9-0 (5), #126, of Salinas, PR, defeated David Perez, 9-1 (2), #125.2, of Tulsa, OK, in 6 rounds.
In the first two rounds Rivera dominated mainly with left hooks. In the final seconds of the third round, Rivera's lead right hand shook Perez.
In the fourth and fifth rounds, Rivera continued to outwork Perez. They had words after the round with Rivera throwing a light punch followed by a warning from referee Massimino Montanini. In the sixth and final round something small happened as Rivera won all six rounds.
The score was 60-54 by all judges and KH.
Men's heavyweight boxer Dainier 'The Fear' Pero, 7-0 (5), #240, of Camaguey, Cuba and Orlando, FL, stops Jose Mario Tamez, 4-4 (1), #228.2, of Monterrey , MEX, at 2:00 if the first round has 6 scheduled rounds.
In the first round, the taller left-footed Pero hurt Tamez with a left to the chin midway through the round. Tamez tried to fight back but was no match for Pero. A left to the body injured Tamez, who was not strong enough to continue in the final minute when referee Frank Santore, Jr. wisely waved his hand.
Heavyweight David “The Beast” Garcia, 6-0 (3), #234.8, of Crescent City, FL, stopped Henry Richard, 4-1 (3), #229.4, of Conroe, TX, at 1:41 of the round two of the six scheduled rounds.
In the first round, it was all about the much shorter Garcia, who in the final minute unleashed a three-punch combination that ended with a left to the chin that sent Richard crashing into the ropes for an eight-count by referee Massimo Montanini. At the bell Garcia injured Richard.
In the second round, after a minute, a right uppercut from Garcia knocked Richard into the ropes giving referee Montanini another eight count. As he advanced, Garcia closed in on him until referee Montanini wisely called for a stop.
Super middleweight Alexis 'Chop Chop' Chaparro, 1-0 (1), #165.6, of PR, Ridgewood, NY, stops Daniel Augare, 2-4 (2), #166.6, of Browning, MT, at 2:30 first round minute of 4 scheduled rounds.
In the first round, Augare was knocked down with a left to the body and a right to the back of the head for a count of nine. When referee Frank Santore, Jr. waving hand.
Featherweight Xavier Bocanegra, 4-0 (2), #128, of Donna, TX, defeated Carlos Andre Dos Santos Rocha, 3-4 (2), #128.2, of Guanulhos, Sao Paulo, BRZ, in 4 rounds .
