Via Ken Hissner: At the Park Theatre, Las Vegas, Nevada, Saturday, during showtimes, Tom Brown (TGB Promotion), during the Main Event WBC World Bantamweight Champion Brandon “The Heartbreaker” Figueroa lost to the champion WBO World Super Bantamweight Champion Stephen “Cool Boy Steph” Fulton.

In the Raeese co-star “The Beast,” Aleem won by majority decision over Eduardo “El Gemelo” Baez over ten rounds.

In the main event unification match, WBC Super Bantamweight World Champion, Brandon “The Heartbreaker” Figueroa, 22-0-1 (17), #121 ¾, of Weslaco, Texas, WBO World Super Bantamweight Champion” Cool Boy Steph” Stephen Fulton, 19 years old -0 (8), #121 ¾, of Philadelphia, PA.

In the first two innings, Figueroa was more evenly matched than Fulton, who counter-attacked as best he could while working against the ropes. In the third round, Fulton left Figueroa on the rope for the first two minutes before returning against the rope. Fulton landed smoothly with a cut on his right chin, rocking Figueroa. Figueroa switches to Southpaw and back throughout.

In the fourth round, Figueroa confronted Fulton again, not allowing him to use hand speed. He leaned into Fulton without warning by referee Russell Mora. In the fifth round, Figueroa used a good body attack after being kicked in the head with a shove to Fulton’s chin. In the sixth round, Figueroa continued to be boxed more by Fulton, who was fighting Figueroa.

In the seventh round, Figueroa used his elbows and whatever was needed against Fulton. In the eighth round, Fulton landed easily while fighting the ropes. In the final minutes, Figueroa replaced, leaving Fulton against the wire. In the ninth inning, Fulton did well, much better with his tackles as Figueroa dragged Fulton across the box without warning.

In the tenth inning, the noise continued to keep it from pleasing the crowd as the round commentators did. Figueroa threw more punches as Fulton struggled at the last minute. In the eleventh inning, Fulton finally started using his shot, establishing his right in the first two minutes. Figueroa came on at the last minute.

In the twelfth and final round, Figueroa prevailed, landing with head and torso, knocking Fulton to the ground.

The score is 114-114, 116-112 twice Fulton with 116-112 Figueroa this writer.

Fulton began to thank God when Figueroa arrived, it was difficult to say that he won. Fulton went on to say it was a close fight. Bad idea, Jim Gray interviewed both at the same time.

In the co-feature, WBA No. 1 ranked Super Bantamweight Super Bantamweight Raeese “The Beast” Aleem, 19-0 (12), #121¾, of Las Vegas, NV, earned a decisive majority against Eduardo “El Gemelo” Baez of Mexico, 20-2-2 (7), #121 ½, of Calexico, CA, more than ten innings.

In the first round until the fifth round, Aleem had the overwhelming advantage. In seasons six through ten, Baez bounced back well, but fell apart in the end.

WBA Bantamweight 2nd place Gary Antonio Russell, 19-0 (12), 117 ½ of Capitol Heights, MD, wins a decisive majority before WBC 5th place Alexandro “Peque” Santiago, 24-4-5 (13) , #118, of Tijuana, Baja California, MEX, more than ten exciting rounds.

In the first three innings, Russell sometimes used a good jab and right hook. In the fourth to sixth rounds, Santiago used a good body attack to win the round, leaving Russell up against the rope most of the time. Russell has slipped down the canvas many times.

In the seventh inning, a low hit from Santiago in a body attack gave Russell minutes to recover. Santiago went on to take the inning from Russell, letting him defend against the ropes. I

In the eighth round, Santiago beat Russell keeping him on the rope in a close round. In the 1/8 round, Santiago continued to attack when Russell gave up and only counterattacked in some situations.

In the ninth round, Santiago sucked Russell’s nose. In the tenth and final lap, it went down the rope back and forth, with Russell landing firmly on the left in the final seconds, rocking Santiago. The referee is Allen Huggins.
