Broadway’s ‘Jagged Little Pill’ closes permanently amid new Covid wave
After some positive circumstances between the cast and crew, the producers have confirmed the show will no longer perform on Broadway. All canceled tickets for Broadhurst Theater performances will be refunded.

We are dismayed by what appears to be another serious public health crisis and – due to the numerous Covid-19 positive cases in the company – need to prioritize health and safety. entire cast, crew, and entire team working on Jagged Little Pill,” the producers said. in a statement. “Given the extremely uncertain situation ahead this winter and forced to choose between continuing to perform and protecting our company, we have made the difficult decision to close.”
The last performance of the musical is on December 17. A traveling production crew will be visiting Australia for the New Year.
Amid the omnicron wave, Broadway’s “Aladdin” and “Hamilton” canceled performances until after Christmas.
