Buffalo Bills OT Rodger Saffold Injured In Car Crash, Starts Camping On NFI List
PITTSFORD, NY – Buffalo Bills solve attack Rodger Saffold is opening a training camp on the non-football injury list after injuring his ribs in a car crash.
Coach Sean McDermott announced Saffold’s condition ahead of the team’s first training session on Sunday, saying the crash had been going on for the past few weeks. Saffold, 34, was present at the opening session.
Defender White Tre’Davious is starting camp on the physically unfit list as he continues to return from a torn ACL he suffered on Thanksgiving. McDermott said White remains on schedule with his rehab. Defensive formation Eli Ankou and the person in line to attack Ike Boettger (Achilles) is also on the PUP list.
Safety Jordan Poyer was present and involved despite requesting a contract extension through his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, during the season.
