Be it with vegan food options or generous tweets during the months-long lockdown, the brand has never failed to garner headlines. Continuing the tradition, Burger King was once again in the news; but this time, the reason is quite odd (or bizarre)! According to a report on the website The Verge, the fast food chain recently emailed empty order receipts to a thousand customers. Reportedly, the letter began appearing in customer mailboxes around 12:15 a.m. Eastern time on August 9, 2022. The letters were sent from the company’s primary marketing email address. Burger King and absolutely nothing on it.
Immediately, customers were confused when they saw the black food bill and wondered if Burger King’s email had been hacked by some “hungry hacker trying to throw a midnight party”. are not. Customers soon took to Twitter to express their concerns about the situation.
“Did anyone else get a random blank #burgerking receipt this morning?” wrote one.

For example, I got a blank receipt from #burgerking and I said yes. “I even ordered from Burger King? “Sure, me too. everyone else lol.”
The reports added that some people, who received the email, don’t even remember creating a Burger King account, registered their email id. Burger King has yet to respond to the matter.
