Call Of Duty: Crazy Festive Event Brings Krampus, Elves, and Holiday Themed Items to the Pioneers and Warzone
If while playing Call of Duty: Vanguard, you thought to yourself, “I wish the non-target players would get attacked by the holiday folklore creature named Krampus”, then the new F Festival event included you.
As is usual with any major Call of Duty content for a given year, and Call of Duty: Warzone, a holiday themed event is now live. Festival Enthusiasm brings to the store four packs, Elf Team Six, Krampus, tier skips, and game-specific event challenges.
Let’s talk to Krampus. The fearsome anthropomorphic creature that may or may not eat children, depending on who you ask, will bring its rage on “anyone who isn’t a target in Vanguard or anyone who dares to find him on Caldera.” Ominous.
In a more playful, if not just mischievous, feel, Elf Team Six, a small group of Santa’s holiday helpers, will be hiding around Vanguard and Warzone Pacific locations. Finding them will give you some rewards like Killstreaks, match scores and more. And speaking of rewards, Vanguard owners automatically get 10 tier skips, 10% seasonal XP boosts, and more goodies starting December 16th. If you don’t own Vanguard and want to get the goodies. For this gift, you need to buy it by December 31st.
If you need more holiday spirit in your loader, there are four festive packs in the store available for purchase: Santa’s Slay, Krampus Unleashed, Secret Santa, and Broken Resolutions.
No matter what you do during Crazy Festival, be it tracing Krampus or discovering all of Santa’s elves, you can complete Carnival challenges that will reward up to 13 items, including a whole unique weapon design.
Vanguard is also bringing a Drop Zone to the holiday event, though it’s currently called Armaggedon Mode. At the start of the match, both teams battle for control of a designated location where Care Packs with Killstreaks inside fall from the sky. This area rotates, and for the most part, whoever controls it, controls the match.
While playing Vanguard or Warzone Pacific matches, watch out for things like gift boxes and Christmas trees, as they can drop a gift or two for your team.
