The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Friday released the results for grades 10 and 12. 94% of students who completed the test entered grade 10 and 92.71% of students completed the test. grade 12, the board said.

In the 10th grade results, 94% of the total students who took the exam passed, in which girls outperformed boys by 1.41%. In grade 12, more than 33,000 students (33,423) or 2.3% of the enrolled students scored above 95%. The council said 1.34 million students scored above 90%, and girls scored 3.29% higher than boys, the council said.

First of all, board exams are conducted for two terms for the 2021-22 academic year.

“For the theory papers, a weight of 30 pc was awarded for the first semester grade, while a 70% weight was awarded for the second semester grade,” it said.

“For the actual articles, equal weight was given to both terms,” a council official said.

The Grade 12 Exams of 2023 will be held from 15 February.
