CD Projekt Red has confirmed that a new Witcher game is currently in development and that it will use the Unreal Engine 5.
While not much has been revealed about this upcoming game, notification confirmed that the new game will “launch a new story for the franchise and a new tech partnership with Epic Games.”
No development timeframe or release date has been given, but CD Projekt Red shared a teaser image (which you can see below), featuring a medallion and the phrase, “a new story begins.” head.”
However, CD Projekt has stated that “we have no plans to make the game a store exclusive” despite working alongside Epic.
