The video shows how to make a quick Kurkure dosa. First, the cook spreads dosa dough on a flat tawa in circles. While the large, round dough was cooking from the bottom, he toss the top with chopped onion, coriander leaves, thin slices of cabbage, tomato sauce, butter, and mayonnaise. Finally, he garnished it with crispy Kurkure puffs and garnished it with some grated cheese. Then, without turning it over or covering it, he served the dosa as if for a customer.

While we were wondering what the dosa would taste like, many viewers passed their verdict. Most viewers rejected this creation and decried the dosa with comments like: “kitna bhi chatpata dosa bna le.. It can never replace the original Masala Dosa dosa), “Yaar cheese to chlo smjh gye bt kurkure dosa pe with mayo .. atleast dosa pe atyachar Nhi” (We can tolerate cheese but mayonnaise on kurkure dosa – please don’t harass dosa).
One humorous comment read, “Eak china he jo nonveg me kuch bhi khate he aur eak india veg me kuch bhi khate he” (Chinese people eat anything in the name of being non-vegetarian and Indians eat anything in the name of vegetables).
Another user shot down this recipe with simple words and said, “This is not dosa”.
