Chevy Corvette E-Ray is definitely ready for winter
We’ve seen quite a few of the upcoming Chevrolet Corvette E-Rays in the past month, including what it looks like. a completely undisguised prototype just last week. While we don’t have a reveal date for the actual car yet, and along with any specifics about its hybrid components, we do know that the version we’ve seen in a recent configuration leak should bear the name E-Ray and the wide body familiar to anyone who has seen the C8 Z06. We still don’t know exactly where the power is being sent, but the latest leaked video offers some hope that, as we’ve known all the way back in 2020, the power might be transmitted to the front wheel.
The video uploaded to YouTube by Corvette Nut with the conspicuous title “°•“°☆°•~♤°\|♧°•`~\°■•,” looks a lot like a leaked official GM clip. It has the caption “professional driver, course closed” in fine print at the bottom and ends with the Corvette logo, but Corvette Blogger Note that this is actually the older C7 generation variant of the logo. Whether the clip is official or not, what matters is what it shows: a camouflaged wide-body Corvette gliding through light snow.
Does this mean the E-Ray will have the rumored all-wheel drive? If you’re hoping to show off the winter prowess of a four-wheel-drive Corvette, there’s no better way to do it. We still have to wait and see the final car for any real answers, but the sheer number of new looks of the car this week seems to suggest that a finished product could be on the way. eye.
