Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes Set Up Division Match With Bills, Josh Allen – Chiefs City Blog in Kansas
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Buffalo Bills midfielder Josh Allen and Chief of Kansas City midfielder Patrick Mahomes will meet for the fourth time in two seasons in the knockout stages of the AFC playoffs on Sunday (6:30 p.m. ET), this time with each of their respective teams participating in an attack.
Mahomes and the Chiefs faced off against Allen and Bills’ attacking fire in the opening game of their Wild-card playoffs Sunday night at Arrowhead Stadium. Mahomes threw a touchdown pass at five properties in a row in 10 minutes and 30 seconds spanning the second and third quarters – the shortest periods for five TDs in NFL history – as the captains passed a slow start to defeat Pittsburgh Steelers 42-21.

“When you were in the Super Bowl two years ago and you walked off the field with a loss last year, you want to come back for revenge and win that,” Mahomes said on the post-match broadcast. “For us, we understand it’s a tough tournament. We have the Bills coming here this weekend, we’re going to have to play our best football. We’re excited about the journey. and we will continue with this process.
“I’m delighted we’ll be playing at Arrowhead next week.”
The captain scored in his sixth consecutive possession, this TD pass goes from Travis Kelce arrive Byron Pringle.
Allen and the Bills scored a goal on seven of their nine properties in the opening match against New England Patriots, which only fails to kill the clock at the end of each round.
