Children’s Day Recipes: Reward the Kids with Choco Chip Cookies and Chocolate Noodles
Children’s Day or Bal Diwas is celebrated in a lovely style, all over India to celebrate the birthday of our country’s first Prime Minister, Jawarharlal Nehru, who is also a big advocate for children’s rights and for a Comprehensive education system where knowledge is accessible to all. 1. Choco Chip Cookies

30g unsweetened natural cocoa
50 ml of chocolate syrup
150 gms refined flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
125 g soft butter
25g granulated sugar
25g brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
2 eggs
80g chocolate chips

Method
In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda. Cream butter and sugar. Add the eggs one at a time, then the vanilla essence. Add the flour mixture, chocolate flavored syrup, and chocolate chips. Scoop out with an ice cream scoop. Place it on a greased tray and line it. Bake for 20 minutes at 160 C.
2) Chocolate Noodles

2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
1 inch ginger, julienne
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
100 grams of vegetables (chili and zucchini)
100 grams of noodles, boiled
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon soy sauce
pepper flavor

Method
In a pan, heat the oil. Saute ginger and garlic, add vegetables and stir for one minute, add salt and pepper to taste. Add sauce, chocolate flavored syrup, noodles and mix well. Garnish with green onions and serve hot.
