Sex And The City star Chris Noth said allegations of sexual assault against him by two different women were “false”.
The American actor, known for playing Mr Big in the hit TV series and now And Just Like That, has been accused of assaulting two women who are more than 10 years apart in age.
The women, who do not know each other, privately approached the trade publication The Hollywood Reporter to ask the 67-year-old man to avenge his role in the new film that has sparked traumatic memories.

A statement from Noth said: “The accusations against me by individuals I met years, even decades ago, are clearly untrue.
“These stories can be from 30 years ago or 30 days ago – which doesn’t always mean not – that’s a line I didn’t cross.
“The meetings were unanimous.
“It’s hard not to question the timing of these stories. I’m not sure why they’re emerging now, but I do know this: I didn’t assault these women.”
