Christina Applegate hints at retirement from acting
Christina Apple may have made her last bow.
Actress, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in the spring of 2021hinting that her decades-long acting career may be over.
“Right now, I can’t imagine waking up at 5 a.m. and spending 12 to 14 hours on a movie,” Applegate Talk to LA time February 7. “I don’t have that in me at the moment.”
In January, Applegate Wins Screen Actors Guild Nomination for the role of Jen Harding in the third and final season of by Netflix die with me—and she further hinted that the February 26 ceremony could serve as a symbolic final chapter.
“This is probably my last award ceremony as an actor,” Applegate revealed, “so that’s a big deal.”
However, the Married…have kids alum has no intention of completely leaving the entertainment industry behind. Applegate—who shares a daughter grace12, with her husband Martyn LeNoble—says she envisions herself “doing a lot of voiceover work to make some money to make sure my daughter gets fed and we get home.”
