City’s Walker under police investigation over flashing allegations
City of Manchester defender Kyle Walker is being investigated by police following allegations of exposing his body in public.
The incident is believed to have happened at a bar in Wilmslow, England on Sunday. Walker, 32, was among the Man City players given a two-day break after the 2-0 win over Man City Newcastle United Football Club on Saturday. The video from the bar is going viral on social media.
A spokesman for the Cheshire Constabulary told ESPN: “On Wednesday, March 8, Cheshire police became aware of a video that went viral on social media regarding indecent contact that allegedly occurred in the area. Wilmslow area.
“Investigations related to the incident are in the early stages and no arrests have been made at this time.”
Sources told ESPN that Walker has so far avoided disciplinary action from City after the club decided the incident was a private matter. The city was approached by ESPN but declined to comment. The England International reports to train as usual on Tuesday.
