Classic Car Ads: Servant and Doorman | Daily driving | Consumer Guide® The Daily Drive
There’s nothing that says “you’ve arrived,” like having a well-appointed, uniformed doorman or valet open the car door for you. For me, it’s always been a troublesome experience, because I rarely carry small denominations—but that’s my problem.
For most people, having a valet assist you out of the car means good times ahead. Be it a dinner, a show or a wedding at a luxury hotel. For this reason, I imagine that automakers have historically created print ads that feature valet and doormen next to their products.
Of course. For a more affordable product, scenes like the one depicted below show that the cars in question are luxurious enough to cruise to even the most luxurious locations. The Ford LTD advertisement is a prime example of this.
