CMAI FAB Show 2024 signals bright future for India’s T&A industry



Fabrics, Accessories & Extras Show 2024 (FAB Show 2024), organized by the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI), concluded its 4th edition with great success, thereby boosting the of the Textile industry with extremely high business prospects. The three-day event, which took place from April 15 to April 17 at the Bombay Exhibition Center, Mumbai, outperformed industry expectations with an estimated turnover of over ₹2,100 crores.

FAB Show 2024 organized by CMAI boosted confidence in the industry with nearly ₹2100 crore in business generated. It attracted 10,200 visitors from India and 16 countries, showcasing innovation and sustainability with over 200 exhibitors. Initiatives such as sapling planting and the Surat Pavilion highlight the industry's commitment to growth and environmental responsibility.

The trade show successfully attracted 10,200 trade visitors from over 320 cities across India, including over 1,500 elite platinum buyers. Furthermore, foreign buyers from 16 countries mainly Bangladesh, UAE, Bahrain, Egypt, Russia, Hong Kong, USA, Kenya, Sri Lanka and Nepal also visited the exhibition. Presence of sourcing heads from renowned brands and retail majors like Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail, Bestseller, Gokaldas Imports, Kora, Mufti, Pepe Jeans, Reliance Brands, Shoppers Stop, Soch , Stori, Spykar, Westside and many more have continued to boost industry confidence thereby reflecting the importance of the event as a leading sourcing platform.

This year's FAB show is a focal point for innovation and sustainability for the industry, showcased by over 200 domestic exhibitors, including big names like Grasim, Arvind, Siyaram's, Gokul Print, Jindal, Banswara Syntex , Ruby Mills, Bhagwan Enterprise along with many MSMEs. Notable participants from diverse sectors such as fabric suppliers, accessory manufacturers and software developers demonstrated their latest products and services to a discerning audience.
