CNN medical analyst Dr Jonathan Reiner on Sunday condemned journalist and author Bari Weiss for saying she was “done with COVID” after nearly two years. Speaking to host Jim Acosta, Reiner said of Weiss’ comment, “She needs to grow up, because she acts like a kid.”

The journalist said that many of her “liberal and progressive” friends agree with her but are afraid to speak for fear that they may be “smeared” as anti-Trump supporters or “scientific deniers.” .
On Saturday, Reiner tweeted a scathing response to Weiss. “I’m glad she got it done, but 3,600 Americans died yesterday and more than 860,000 have died in the last two years,” he said. Acosta referenced Reiner’s “growing up” comment in Sunday’s interview, asking him about his reaction to Real time part.
