Lincoln’s redesigned 2024 Nautilus SUV made its public debut this week. It features a revamped exterior styling and an all-new interior with a unique gauge setup that spans the width of the dashboard.

The Lincoln Nautilus was introduced in 2007 as the MKX. The midsize 5-seater SUV is essentially a gold-plated version of the Ford Edge. Lincoln has phased out the alphabetical names for all of its models that aren’t called Navigator, with the Nautilus coming online in 2019. A first for the brand, the Nautilus 2024 spec. American art will be manufactured and exported from Chinalike an opponent Buick imagines and some Volvo models.
Cheap wheels: Lincoln Town passenger car 1998-2002
Speaking of Envision, Lincoln’s designers must have used that car as a template because from the front, it and the new Nautilus look very similar. It will retain the model name on the front door while the back repeats the look of the previous generation with a revised fender.
Inside is where the Nautilus 2024 really stands out. The first thing you notice is the dashboard, which consists of two 24-inch screens that span the entire dashboard. The new flat steering wheel is designed to improve the readability of the screen, which can be customized to display a variety of information. The second, centrally mounted screen handles climate and infotainment tasks, including support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In keeping with Lincoln’s new “mecca” product theme, the Nautilus will be available with adjustable ambient lighting and a “scent box” that can spray multiple scents throughout the cabin.
The Forgotten Concept: Lincoln Quicksilver
Three new interior color “themes” will be available, including Black Onyx with Medium Light Space Gray; “Smoked Truffle” two-tone; and Black Onyx with Allura Blue. The new Jet Look Pack adds two-tone exterior paint, gloss black wheels and anodized black interior trim details. The Black Onyx Sport Package adds “Copper Code” aluminum trim and “Dusted Copper” accent stitching.
Conventional and gas/electric hybrid powertrains will be available, each with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Standard versions are expected to produce 250 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The hybrid versions use the same engine and add a 100 kilowatt electric motor, bringing the total horsepower to 310. They use a continuously variable automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is standard across the board.
The Nautilus will adopt Ford’s BlueCruise semi-autonomous driving technology with hands-free lane-changing capabilities. Lincoln says the system has been overhauled to work in a more natural way.
The Lincoln Nautilus 2024 will start at $50,415 plus $1,395 in manufacturer shipping fees. The top-of-the-line Black Label will have a base price of $74,465. Customers and dealers can order now, but initial deliveries are slated for early 2024.
CG says:
While it doesn’t look particularly exciting from the outside, the Lincoln Nautilus 2024’s cabin made us very excited. Hopefully all that available technology will appeal to younger shoppers while being easy enough for older customers to operate. Stay tuned for our impressions when the car is ready for media review.
