Coronavirus India: Omicron-induced weekend curfew in Delhi: Who is exempt?
New Delhi:
The following is a list of everyone who will be exempted for the time being Weekend curfew in place in Delhi from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday due to a spike in COVID-19 cases:
- Officials and officials involved in essential and emergency services are required to present a valid ID card during night and weekend curfews.
- Officers and Officials of the Government of India, Autonomous or Subordinate Offices and PSUs on presentation of a valid ID card and subject to restrictions imposed by the Union government.
- The judges and all Justice officials, the staff of all the courts of Delhi as well as the defense counsel, legal counsel, involved in the hearing of the case on the presentation of valid identification, service identification card, photo entry card and letter of permission issued by the court authority.
- Officials and officers in the diplomatic missions of countries as well as those holding constitutional offices on the presentation of valid identity cards.
- All private health workers such as doctors, nursing staff, medical staff and other hospital services such as hospitals, diagnostic centers, laboratories, clinics, pharmacies, public pharmaceutical companies, medical oxygen providers and other medical and health services must present a valid ID card.
- Pregnant women and patients who come for medical examination and health care with the attendant, present valid ID card and doctor’s prescription f) Person who goes for COVID-19 test or vaccination presents proof valid people’s identity.
- Persons going to and from airports, railway stations and inter-national bus stations are allowed to present valid tickets.
- Print and electronic means of production of valid identity cards.
- Person or student is allowed to come to the examination upon presentation of a valid admission card. Examination officials deployed to administer exams may present a valid identity card or order to administer the exam.
- Personal gatherings related to marriage up to 20 people present a soft or hard copy marriage card.
