CUET-UG results declared: Key points
NEW DELHI: National testing agency (NTA) on Friday morning announced the results for the General Universities Entrance Test (CUET UG).
The exam is conducted for admission to 91 universities spread across the country.

Here’s all you need to know:
- The first edition of CUET-UG, a portal for university admissions, begins in July and ends on August 30.
- As originally planned, all phases of CUET-UG were scheduled to end on August 20. However, the exam was further postponed and divided into six phases to cater for the students. The exam was rescheduled due to some problems that damaged the test.
- With 14.9 thousand registrations, CUET is currently the second largest entrance exam in the country, surpassing the average 90,000 registrations of JEE-Main. NEET-UG is the largest entrance test in India with an average of 180,000 registrations.
- In India, the exam is held in 444 centers in 239 cities. Outside of India, the exam is held in Muscat, Riyadh,
Dubai Manama, Doha, Kathmandu, Sharjah,Singapore and Kuwait, among others. - Admission to all central universities including DU will be done on the basis of CUET UG scores.
- Jamia Millia Islamia has also decided to use CUET UG results for admission in selected graduate courses from the current course.
