After the first two days of some beautiful performances going on FDII x Lakme Fashion Week, the third day of fashion week ended last night at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in Delhi. Designers include people like Manish MalhotraRimzim Dadu, Aisha Rao, and Siddhartha Bansal among others presented spectacular displays of their collections at the fashion event.
Along with the models, some celebrities like Shanaya KapoorSiddhant Chaturvedi, Mira Kapoor, Sonam Bajwa, and Huma Qureshi walk the runway for designers as performers.

Siddhanti and Shanaya to represent designer Manish Malhotra, who presented her ‘Diffuse’ collection at fashion week. Featuring distinct geometric motifs and eccentric prints interspersed with metallic details, the collection unfolded in all its glittering glory. While Shanaya, who is scheduled to debut in Karan JoharNext, wearing a shimmery body-hugging gown, Siddhant looked stylish in a geometric print ensemble.
Sibling-duo Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem walk the ramp for Two Point Two’s collection, Behind the Door. The collection “is a tribute to that very belief that reminds us that hope exists, compassion exists, solidarity exists, camaraderie exists and, above all, love exists.” at,” according to the official page of Lakme Fashion Week. The suits are made using sustainable organic textiles developed from the fibers of rose petals, oranges, lotus flowers and organic cotton.
Mira Designer Aisha Rao is seen wrapping up the show in a colorful lehenga from the designer’s latest collection, Divergence. With prints, textures and colors that elevate the mood, the collection is “a transcendent escape to an earth-friendly dreamland”. “True to the brand’s concept of ecology, Rao’s new line combines slow-paced, planet-conscious fashion with unbridled glamour. Thus, all the pieces lead to a non-stop performing wardrobe that masters impeccable construction, fit and ingenious details,” wrote Lakme Fashion Week.
Sonam has switched to showstopper for Siddhartha Bansal looked lovely in a blue printed halter dress. Bansal’s collection, Blooming Tales, is “a dreamy collection of vivid floral emotions”. With blooming flowers and dancing rows of houses, this place is sure to take you on a flower-filled journey.
boAt X HUEMN’s collection has stunned viewers with its mischief and eccentric design. “The collection dives into garments that are conversation pieces – hand-drawn prints, strong statement pieces, tight fit and meticulously handcrafted textures for which HUEMN is famous. According to Fashion Week organizers, the handcrafted HUEMN Gorilla also weaves the entire collection.
Inspired by the natural elements around us, Rimzim Dadu has introduced his latest collection, A Sea of Million Stories. The designer’s signature lacing technique in the redesigned material seeks to reimagine cocktail making to create liquid yet structured forms. With clean cuts, sharp silhouettes and molten metal, the dresses are the perfect blend of modern and ready-to-wear chic.
