Dead Island 2 has a long awaited trailer and release date
Earlier this week, Dead Island 2: Day One Edition leaked on Amazon, showing a warrior resembling Lenny Kravitz on the cover of the box. So it’s fitting that Gamescom 2022 ends with two trailers (cinema and game) for a long overdue zombie killing sequel.
We follow a chiseled survivor named Jacob as he leaves the safety of his (blood-soaked) apartment and ventures into a California inferno overrun with the undead. He kills several enemies with an empty rifle, stabs it through their rotting bodies, and smashes their heads against the pavement with its wooden butt.
The gameplay trailer shows off gorgeous beaches, abandoned suburbs, busy city streets, and quiet festivals. In one of the best graphic clips I’ve seen at a game show, we get to see as the player character uses blunt objects, jumps on enemies, and shoots gas canisters to drown the horde in the flames. fire.
Dead Island 2 is a first-person action RPG with six playable characters. And according to a designer who appeared on stage, the bloody journey has a needless, tedious tone, and the gameplay is all about “testing your preferred methods of killing zombies.” .
Dead Island 2 arrives on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on February 3.
