Investment.com – Danish shares were higher after Wednesday’s close, as gains in and sectors sent shares higher.
Closed in Copenhagen, an increase of 0.67%.
The best performer of the session was AP Moeller – Maersk A/SB (CSE:), up 3.49% or 615.00 points to trade at 18,260.00 to close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/SA (CSE:) added 3.02% or 520.00 points to end at 17,750.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:) rose 2.02% or 16.00 points to 810.00 in late trading.
The worst performers in the session were Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:), down 2.14% or 11.60 points to trade at 530.80 at close. DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:) fell 1.99% or 22.50 points to 1,105.50 and Ambu A/S (CSE:) fell 1.95% or 2.05 points to 103.20.
More stocks fell than gained on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 95 to 59 and 18 ended flat, respectively.
Shares of DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE::) fall to 52-week low; lost 1.99% or 22.50 to 1,105.50.
Crude oil for May delivery rose 1.89%, or 1.90, to $102.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude for June delivery rose 2.14% or 2.24 to $106.88 a barrel, while June gold futures rose 0.08% or 1. 50 to $1,977.60 an ounce.
USD/DKK fell 0.31% to 6.85, while EUR/DKK was unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures index was down 0.24% at 100.05.
