‘Didn’t know they were for Alia’: Floral artist Srishti Kapur designed the bracelet for the actor’s mehendi ceremony
Alia Bhatt, who was recently married to Ranbir Kapoor, created ripples with her minimal jewelry and outfit choices for her nuptials. While the actors marveled in a Sabyasachi sari . ivory for the wedding, she kept it vibrant in a fuchsia pink lehenga set up by Manish Malhotra for the mehendi function.

Talk about flower accessoriesSrishti Kapur, who designed them, says indianexpress.com“They wanted something very subtle and simple to Alias. I was introduced to a crown of dried flowers and asked to do something similar for her hand.”
Kapur shares that corsets are made using flowers with some gold wire. “It has a very delicate and intricate design and uses white and pale yellow flowers along with some pearls.”
However, the floral artist did not know that she was designing bracelets for Alia. “I don’t know what they are for Alia because I have been contacted by gift coordination partners and suppliers for Ranbir and Alia’s wedding. So I don’t know if she’ll actually wear them (or not). It was only when we saw the official mehendi photos that we realized she was actually wearing a corset we made! ” she shared.
Kapur adds that she found Raazi The actor’s overall mehendi looks pretty “interesting”. “We don’t know anything about her outfit, but white is a neutral color that goes with any look and Alia looks really pretty. Such bracelets are a great way to add a touch flowers for the look of a bride. If I knew her look in advance, I would add some floral elements; but she still looks great,” she said.
Recently, famous brides like Katrina Kaif and Karishma Tanna, also chose her floral jewelry. “Both Katrina and Karishma styled by Anaita Shroff Adajania who wanted something subtle and white for the brides. “We made dried flower jewelry for both of them, including Kale. ”
“A lot of brides are now opting for white and gold, thanks to celebrities,” revealed Kapur. “Flower jewelry really depends on the weight of the outfit. If the outfit is simpler, you can go for heavier accessories and vice versa,” she suggests.
