Disabled people become muse for couturiers at the FDII x Tamana fashion show OUT
People with Disabilities (PwDs) have become program participants for Fashion Beyond Boundaries, a warmly gorgeous festival, organized by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) in collaboration with Tamana, a non-profit organization.
Held in the capital, the fashion gala saw a group of famous designers’ collections ranging from Reynu Taandon to Anju Modi.

FDII President Sunil Sethi recognized Tamana Chona, a victim of autism and cerebral palsy whom the NGO Tamana named as “an important part” of his journey. “Tamana’s celebration of the crusaders,” Sethi called the fashion show “an evening of courage and style.”
“Fashion is the most powerful form of nonverbal communication and this is where we found synergy with Tamana, which gives voice to the underprivileged,” said Sethi in one of the shows. FDII x Tamana before.
This year, the evening was witnessed by UP Singh, Secretary, Ministry of Textiles and Justice Dhananjaya Chandrachud, Supreme Court judge of India, along with Tamana management committee and other distinguished guests.
