Dr. Dre’s The Chronic returns to streaming services via Interscope Records
Dr. Dre is celebrating his iconic album’s 30th anniversary Chronic people by announcing a reissue by the original distributor, Interscope Records.
Interscope is up! Chronic people in 1992 through a relationship with Death Row Records.
Chronic peopleCurrently unavailable on streaming services, will again be available to fans on all major DSPs as of today, February 1, 2023.
The reissue of the work will be accompanied by a Special chronic goods collection.
Originally released on December 15, 1992, on Death Row Records/Interscope, Chronic people reached 3rd place on billboards 200 and has spent 97 weeks on the chart since its release.
The album also spawned three top 40 hits on the Hot 100, including top 10 hits with Nuthin ‘But AG Thang (Number 2) features Snoop Dogg and “F— Wit Dre Day” (No. 8).
Chronic people topped the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart for eight weeks, while Nuthin ‘But AG Thang reached number one for two weeks on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs.
Last June, Rolling Stone put Chronic people on its list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
