Drake Can’t Stop Making Enemies on ‘Her Loss,’ From Serena Williams to Megan Thee Stallion and Ice Spice

The two musicians shared the spotlight for much of the album’s one-hour run, but it’s Drake’s lyrics that get everyone talking today, as many of his bars continue to gnaw his good personality.
In “Middle of the Ocean,” Drake surreptitiously teased Serena Williams’ ex-husband, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.
“Sidebar, Serena, your husband is a band,” Drake said before pausing for a moment, presumably to reinforce his point. “He insisted we had no problems, but it was okay, it was like you came for sushi,” he continued, adding another series of lazy references to Japanese culture.
Ohanian, who is worth an estimated $70 million, hit back at Drake in a Twitter thread Friday afternoon promoting a story in Information about his latest business ventures.

The pair were spotted sitting very close together at a restaurant in Cincinnati in August 2015, hours after Williams won the Western & Southern Open in Queen City. But in The Weeknd’s remix of “Tell Your Friends” released the following month, Drake alludes to the unilateral farewell to the bars, saying, “The ball is in your yard / No defense, no one. keep score / No offense, but I” played this before / Maybe you can but you just don’t care anymore. “
It’s not clear when rumors of their romance dissipated, but Williams and Ohanian became engaged in December 2016 and married the following November.

Drake’s double scam led to an angry Twitter thread from Megan, who warned, “And when the mf truth comes out, remember you all hoe ass your favorite rappers are behind a Nigga with NO MORE.”
Interestingly, 21 Savage actually refers to Megan’s hit single “Savage” in the album’s opening sequence “Rich Flex” —Megan is even credited as the song’s writer — raising the question of whether Did Drake really want to offend her?
Meanwhile, budding New York MC Ice Spice also showed up to personally record one of Drake’s lyrics, even though she wasn’t even named. Above Her loss track “BackOutsideBoyz,” Drake raps, “She raps 10 times, great on mute.”
Spice, who rose to prominence with the song “Munch” in August, tweeted: “At least 10 ima”, along with shrug and smile emoticons.
