Dreamloper facing men in Prix D’Ispahan
G2 female lead Dahlia S. Dreamloper (Ire) (Lope de Vega {Ire}) will try their luck with men in the G1 Prix d’Ispahan at ParisLongchamp on Sunday, according to coach Ed Walker. Having won the G3 Valiant S. last July and finishing third in the G1 Sun Chariot S. later that year, the bay mare took the nose win in the Dahlia S. at Newmarket on the 1st. May. After her visit to France, J. Fill colourbearer participated in G1 Pretty Polly S June 26.
“The plan was to go for the Prix d’Ispahan on Sunday, she’s been in very good shape and she’s come out of the Newmarket race in a good way,” Walker said. “It was a big ask to join and confront the ponies in Group 1, but it was a nice stepping stone between Dahlia and Pretty Polly.
“We are very pleased with her and we are very pleased with the operation of Newmarket, she feels very good – we are looking forward to that.”
