Ineos promised to create a dual cab pickup version of the grenade 4×4 wagons since launch, and these spy shots show that development is coming to an end.

Its tub is distinctive with its circular taillights, sculpted rear door branding and extended toolbar. A spare off-road tire is in the tank, but we imagine the production model will be mounted underneath the vehicle.
The two-cabin Grenadier pickup will offer buyers a perfect alternative to Toyota LandCruiser 70 Cab Dualand all the more car-like competitors like Ford Ranger and jeep fighter.
A launch date has not been confirmed, but this test prototype looks almost ready. Australia, as the main launch market for Ineos and a favorite among lovers, will almost certainly be an early recipient.
Engine plans are not known, but you can expect them to shift from wagon to wagon: that is, a 3.0-liter twin-turbo diesel and a BMW-powered inline-six petrol engine.

Both engines are mated to a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission (codenamed 8HP51 for petrol, 8HP76 for diesel), with what Ineos calls a “heavyweight” torque converter. new.

Grenadier is the brainchild of Sir Jim Ratcliffe, a billionaire British engineer and chairman of multinational petrochemical giant Ineos. No expenses were saved for his passion project.
The official story says Ratcliffe hung out in London’s Grenadier pub in 2017, complaining about Land Rover’s decision to kill off the old Defender and replace it with a more modern and luxurious new SUV.
Ineos Automotive Australia operates under factory support rather than as an independent licensed distributor. The company is headed by Justin Hocevar, who previously ran Mini Australia and Renault Australia, and is a senior executive at Jaguar Land Rover and BMW Motorrad.
Production Grenadiers will be built in a 210,000 square meter old Mercedes-Benz (Smart) factory in Hambach, France, since purchased by Ineos. Since 2019, the plant has received AU$770 million worth of upgrades, funded by both Mercedes-Benz and Ineos.

The entry price for a Grenadier SUV is currently $97,000 before on-road costs for the two-seat Utility Wagon, with the five-seat Station Wagon starting at $98,000. As a result, the pickup’s price point is likely in the same baseball field.
