Dying Light 2 Stay Human is a fun and ambitious game, but it’s not without its downsides technically. Earlier today, Techland rolled out a patch for consoles and PCs designed to fix various bugs while consolidating adventure with a number of improvements. If you’re looking forward to running the amok in Villedor this weekend, your trip will be smoother.
Techland tweeted each update by platform, which we’ve listed here below:

- Added additional video settings (including motion blur and distance blur)
- Fixed blocks resulting in players ending up in a death ring after the co-op session. Some edge cases may still not be fixed and are under investigation
- The death screen now has a button that allows the player to appear inside the quest area to stop a block
- Fixed many crashes and improved game stability
- Added option to switch in-game voiceover between localization and original (English)
- Various improvements to keyboard and mouse key binding options (including the option to toggle step and toggle between toggle and hold on aim)
- The right music is now for friends and colleagues in co-op sessions
PlayStation / Xbox
- Fixed various situations where players could be disconnected in co-op
- Fixed many problems
- Fixed different story blocks
- Added additional video settings (including motion blur and distance blur)
- Fixed blocks that resulted in players ending up in a death ring after a co-op session
- Fixed an issue where players could not sell valuables to vendors
- Fixed an issue with music player mode that prevented a song from being muted
- Fixed an issue where the AI was immortalized in some rare situations when playing in co-op
- Fixed various issues with hidden gameplay in co-op
- Fixed various issues where AI could be blocked in geometry
- Added various AI visual adjustments (including AI animation related issues)
- Various balance improvement
- Fixed an issue where co-op colleagues could rarely see dialog options
- Various performance optimizations
- Fixed various situations that could cause infinite black screen
- Fixed copying AI corpses in co-op
- Fixed infinite loading
- Fixed custom mission music for colleagues during co-op sessions
- Fixed occasional screen flickering on PlayStation 5
- Enabled VRR 60 + FPS mode on Xbox Series X
