Eagle’s attack fires on all turrets in the first half vs Giants
PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia Eagles tight ending Dallas Goedert made a standout catch and ran into the back yard for a 16-yard score on the opening match of the NFC division’s knockout game against the team. New York Giants to drive the already seething Lincoln Financial Field crowd into a frenzy.

midfielder Jalen hurts. Goedert grabbed it with one hand, bounced it up and then moved into the back yard to give Philadelphia a 7-0 advantage. The Giants’ defense has struggled to stop tight finishes all season. It is therefore not surprising that Goedert was targeted twice in the opening, catching both at 25 yards and one point.
This is the Eagles’ ninth opening encounter of the season, tied for the most Vikings in the NFL.
Philly made it 14-0 before the end of the first half over nine yards DeVonta Smith point.
