New Twitter CEO and sole director Elon Musk sent a company-wide email to the rest of the social media business’s employees on Wednesday, asking them to commit to working “high intensity hours” or get “three months severance” if they don’t agree to these conditions or support his vision of “Twitter 2.0”.
The company-wide ultimatum, sent around midnight San Francisco time and shared with CNBC, comes after Musk fired key Twitter executives, laying off half of its full-time employees. Twitter time and cut the number of contractors working with the company without notice. This week, he also fired veteran engineers at Twitter after they criticize him in public or in the company’s internal Slack channels.

An impostor has caused a serious problem when they tweet, “we are delighted to announce that insulin is now free.” The tweet remained on the social media platform for hours before it was taken down. Real Eli Lilly account then tweeted: “We apologize to those who received misleading messages from the fake Lilly account.”
Eli Lilly’s stock price decline after the false message was posted and the company decided to suspend advertising on Twitter indefinitely.
Musk is currently planning to release a revised Blue Verified Twitter on November 29.
