Enverus acquires evaluated solar planning solution
Enverusan energy-focused software-as-a-service company, announced that it has acquired Have evaluated, a Spanish startup that helps you plan, design and optimize solar power plants. Terms of the deal have yet to be disclosed.
Enverus works with all types of customers in the energy ecosystem focused on renewables and oil and gas. In particular, the company has partnered with 98% of US energy producers and 35,000 suppliers to provide access to real-time analytics. With these insights, energy-focused companies can more easily benchmark costs and revenues before committing to a new project.
Customers include power, utility and infrastructure companies, but can also be financial institutions working on energy projects. They can use Enverus to allocate capital based on optimizing production and distribution.
With RatingPower, Enverus is doubling down on renewable energy development as RatingPower focuses exclusively on utility-scale solar photovoltaic plants.
“Like our beginnings decades ago, RatingPower is a pioneer in digitization, automation and efficiency, but in the rapidly evolving solar market. Our common denominator is truth in data, strategic planning, and efficiency optimization,” Enverus CEO Jeff Hughes said in a statement. “As of today, we have taken a big step forward in adding solar planning capabilities that allow us to strategically advise customers on where and how to design their plants. to maximize output.”
Engineers use RatePower’s software platform – pvDesign – to research, analyze and design new projects for photovoltaic plants. Overall, RatePower has been used to develop more than 43 GW of solar projects across 20,000 projects in 160 countries.
For example, RatingPower can scan a variety of layout configurations and tell you which will maximize the profit and value of this solar plant project based on topography, meteorological data , configure the horizon, etc
“We were born with the vision to digitize the renewable energy industry and make solar the main source of energy in the world to accelerate the energy transition,” said RatingPower CEO Andrea Barber said in a statement. “Our mission aligns perfectly with Enverus and our synergies will put us in a prime position to achieve that vision while powering the global energy economy.” new bridge.”
