Following up on more Classic success, this time with his son Efforia (Jpn) in 2021, Epiphaneia (Jpn) The fee of (Symboli Kris S) has increased to 18,000,000 yen (£117,174 / €139,172 / $156,021), which topped Shadai Stallion Station’s 2022 list. The 11-year-old also celebrated the group winners Aristoteles (Jpn) and Circle of Life (Jpn). Lord Kanaloa (Jpn) (King Kamehameha {Jpn}), the male god of the Japanese Horse of the Year Almond Eye (Jpn), remained at 15,000,000 yen. Kizuna (Jpn) (Deep Impact {Jpn})’s fee has been increased to 12,000,000 yen based on the 11 winners of 2021 who are black, including G1 Trophy heroine Akai Ito (Jpn) Queen Elizabeth II. Another Shadai horse with increased fees is Drefong (Gio Ponti), who will be at ¥7,000,000, after his Geoglyph (Jpn) won the G3 Sapporo Nisai S. and he had another pair of runs that won the black card.
A trio of exciting newcomers will include their first girls at Shadai in 2022–2020 Japan Triple Crown Winners Contrast (Jpn) (Deep Impact {Jpn}), hero G1 2000 Guineas Poetic Flare (Ire) (Dawn Approach {Ire}), and Japan Dirt Horse 2019 champion and G1 Champion Cup winner Chrysoberyl (Jpn) (Gold {Jpn}). Poetic Flare and Chrysoberyl fees are set at 6,000,000 yen and 3,000,000 yen, respectively. Contrail’s fee will be announced after his match in the G1 Japan Cup on Sunday.
Responsible for G1 winner Victoria Derby Hitotsu (Aus), Maurice (Jpn) The fee of (Screen Hero {Jpn}) has been reduced to 7,000,000 yen. That’s the same price as the Japanese Classic winners Rey de Oro (Jpn) (King Kamehameha {Jpn}) and Saturnalia (Jpn) (Lord Kanaloa {Jpn}) will lead, with the former having its first ponies in 2022 and the latter welcoming its first ponies next year. America’s Horse of the Year 2019 Brick and mortar (Giant’s Causeway), whose first ponies are born in 2022, will go to court for 6,000,000 yen. The last child of Sunday Silence on the Shadai list, Daiwa Major (Jpn), will be paid a separate fee.
