Right, Limit line reports that a second season will definitely take place. A release date has yet to be announced, but with it having a June release of this year, it’s probably safe to guess it’ll be out in the summer of 2023.

The story follows Isabel “Belly” Conklin, a girl who finds herself in a love triangle between two brothers named Conrad and Jeremiah. Belly has a crush on her longtime brother, Conrad, and he finally reciprocates her interest — and then suddenly his younger brother, Jeremiah, is fighting for her affections.
The background to this development is that they are having a last summer at Cousins Beach, where the boys and their mother have traditionally met with the Belly family every year. The brothers’ mother, Susannah, was battling cancer and eventually decided she no longer wanted to undergo active treatment. They’re all still trying to have a “normal” summer together, but it’s proving to be more and more challenging.
Who will return for season 2 of Summer I’m Pretty?
The show stars newcomers Lola Tung, Jackie Chung, Rachel Blanchard, Christopher Briney, Gavin Casalegno, Sean Kaufman, Alfredo Narciso and Minnie Mills, Colin Ferguson, and Tom Everett Scott. Briney and Casalegno will almost certainly return as brothers who continue to fight for Belly’s affections throughout Han’s three book series. There’s also a chance we’ll see Belly’s family return again, although Rachel Blanchard, who plays Susannah, may or may not be there if the character has passed in the inter-season gap.
Behind the scenes, Han will return as a host, this time working with Sarah Kucserka. Her former co-star, Gabrielle Stanton, will continue as executive producer, along with Han, Kucserka and Karen Rosenfelt. Han also wrote the script for the show and continues to have a strong influence on how the screen version of her story was developed.
