College footballTransfer portal is now open for next 15 days. More than 6,000 NCAA football players have entered the gate since the start of the 2022 season, including 2,179 last December alone – the most in any month since the transfer portal was created in fall 2018.
The NCAA has issued two transfer window windows: a 45-day window that begins the day after four College Football Qualifiers teams are selected in December, and a spring window of April 15-30.
The first wave of transfers saw many big names switch teams, such as the former Clemson midfielder DJ Uiagalelei find a new home in Oregon State And Cade McNamarawho leads? Michigan to CFP 2021-22, for Wolverines to attend the conference Iowa. Meanwhile, Deion Sanders and Colorado produced some great successes, namely in midfield Shedeur Sandersson of Deion, and defense Travis Hunterthe 1st ranked player to enter the gate in winter.

Dawson, one four-star recruitment in the 2021 division, played four games last season, catching two passes from 30 yards. He ran a total of 16 routes in 2022.

Oklahoma State lineman announces intent to enter the gate
Caleb EtienneThe left tackle kicks off the rest of Oklahoma State’s season, announced Friday he will enter the portal when it reopens.
Etienne is one of only two offensive players to start every game for Oklahoma State. The 330-pound, 6-7th grader is a college transfer student in 2021, starting three games while preserving the red jersey.
The NCAA has issued transfer portal windows for the 2022-23 school year to try to regulate when players are allowed to enter: a 45-day window from December 5 to January 18, and a 15-day window from December 5 to January 18. two last from April 15 to 30.
But while the windows are intended to add structure, many coaches and HR directors from various conferences say handling the ongoing balancing act of portals, recruiting classes and preparing the dishes, all during the holiday season, generated too much profit at once.

Texas A&M Center Matthew Wykoffwho won an All-SEC title as a freshman in 2022, will enter the gate once it opens on saturday.
Wykoff, 6 feet 6 and 330 pounds, played 12 games (nine starts) for the Aggies last year, dropping out only once. He will have three years left to qualify.
midfielder Ben Finley played three games and started Wolfpack’s last two games of the 2022 season, totaling 741 yards, 3 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. He led NC State to a two-overtime win over North Carolina but threw two picks in a 16-12 loss to Maryland in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl.

The gate reopens this weekend
Last August, the NCAA make two transfer periods to help adjust the college football calendar. The first batch runs from December 5 to January 18, and the second will be open for about two weeks, starting on Saturday.
