Former Ireland Lawn Club CEO Cahir O’Sullivan has passed away peacefully at his residence in Newbridge, Co. Kildare on Tuesday. He is 86 years old.
O’Sullivan was head of the governing body of Irish racing – or the Match Book Holder, as the position was then called – from 1976 to 1999, he became a member of the Club. field ministry in 200 and two years later was also appointed a member of the National Hunters Committee of Ireland.
