France condemns ‘space saboteurs’ after Russian satellite attack
Paris:
France on Tuesday criticized “space saboteurs” for creating a large amount of dangerous debris after Russia admitted to destroying one of its satellites in a rocket test.
“Space is in the common good of our planet’s 7.7 billion inhabitants. Space vandals have a heavy responsibility for creating debris that contaminates and deprives astronauts and satellites of space. Our planet is in danger,” Defense Minister Florence Parly wrote on Twitter.
