Franco-German defense group develops next-generation tank
Franco-German defense technology group KNDS (KMW + NEXTE Defense Systems) displayed the experimental chassis of the Enhanced Main Battle Tank (EMBT) at the Eurosatory 2022 defense show in Paris.
As noted by the company, the technology carrier EMBT demonstrates the possibility of successful and effective cooperation between France and Germany.
KNDS says the EMBT showcased at Eurosatory represents a new experimental platform, featuring a four-man crew concept (2-man turret, two-person chassis) with an improved 120mm turret combined with the world’s largest ammunition. completely new and reconfigurable new system (Shard) and MMI.

In addition, the company also announced that the EMBT is ready for the integration of ASCALON (140mm) and other turrets in the future.
