Spirit Music Group promoted Frank Rogers to Creative Director, Spirit Music Group/CEO, Spirit Music Nashville.
In his new role, Rogers will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Spirit Music Group’s global listings and creative activities as well as continuing to oversee the operations of Spirit Music Nashville.
Rogers will continue to be based in Nashville.
In 2016, Spirit Music Group formed a multi-reality agreement with Frank Rogers and his company Fluid Music Revolution to form the Spirit/Fluid joint venture.
Through the deal, Spirit acquired one-third of Rogers’ interest in some of the Sea Gayle Music copyrights.
He also joins Spirit’s list as a musician and the exclusive company that manages all of his new compositions worldwide. In 2019, the group Spirit Appointed by Rogers CEO of Spirit Music Nashville.
Rogers moved to Nashville in 1990 and earned a degree in music business from Belmont University, where he met future collaborator Brad Paisley.
Rogers then worked for EMI Nashville Production and opened the indie music publishing house Sea Gayle in Nashville with Paisley and Chris DuBois.
During his time at Spirit Music Group, Rogers announced the acquisition of several key Tim McGraw records, including his hits. Highway doesn’t care and Humility & Kindness (Grammy Best Country Song, CMT Video of the Year, CMA Song of the Year, and AMA Favorite Country Song).
Spirit also recently announced purchase Artist’s piece among the masters for Jason Aldean. The deal includes nine albums, including 24 No.1 songs, 34 Top 10 songs and six RIAA albums are certified Platinum.
All of these albums have been historically released through Broken Bow Records, BMG acquired in 2017 for $103 million. BMG/ Broken Bow confirms it will continue to be Exclusively Licensed Label Partner for Aldean records until at least 2030.
The acquisition also includes proximity rights and SoundExchange royalties.
Under the leadership of Frank Rogers, Spirit Music Nashville has also acquired part of the publishing catalog of acclaimed songwriters Jonathan Singleton and four-time Grammy Award-winning David Garcia (co-writer/co-producer of the Does that mean spent 50 weeks at number one, AS SOON AS POSSIBLEBest Christian Composer of the Year 2019).

He has worked with artists including Trace Adkins, Brad Paisley, Josh Turner, Darius Rucker, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Dolly Parton, Allison Krauss, Frank Ray and Scotty McCreery.
Rogers has 18 CMA nominations (with one win) and 27 ACM nominations (with five wins) and has produced 17 Grammy-nominated songs/albums including four winners.
Rogers has co-written songs including I will miss her (Brad Paisley); OK and Here (Darius Rucker); Five more minutes, This is it, Between, Your turn (Scotty McCreery); and Backroad song (Granger Smith).
His songs have been recorded by artists including Chris Stapleton, Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, Kenny Rogers, Clint Black, Hootie And The Blowfish, Lee Brice, Kidd Rock, Billy Gibbons and Matthew West.
