One big caveat is that Future requires you to have your own exercise equipment. So if your workout requires weights, you’ll need to reach for weights. This means that if you want to do anything other than run or work out, you’ll need a home gym or gym membership to get it done.

As a certified trainer, I’m not excited about evaluating an app that could pair me with a personal trainer. I maintain a steady running regimen and I do CrossFit classes a few days a week, so I don’t feel the need to train separately.
