Garrett Hedlund sues for “horrific” car crash for allegedly being drunk
The mother-daughter duo said: “Hedlund had bloodshot, bloodshot and watery eyes with a voice and coordination that was extremely livid and was so drunk that he didn’t react to police and witnesses; Hedlund was so drunk he couldn’t was able to walk and was forced to sit in the Jeep; and Hedlund had finished drinking a few minutes before the crash.”
Each Everyone, he was released on bail following his January 24 arrest.
The Tron: Legacy alum was arranged in February 2020, where a judge ordered him to seek counsel, according to court records obtained by E! News. Hedlund did not contest a single DUI violation and was found guilty, while the second DUI charge was dismissed.
“When the incident occurred, Garrett immediately sought treatment and was successful,” his agent confirmed to E! News in November 2020. “Today, he is in a solid and wonderful place.”
A source also told E! News that Hedlund, who has a 12-month-old son Rhodes with actress Emma Roberts, did “well done” after his run from the police. The insider said the DUI arrest “isn’t something that really threatens to split between” Hedlund and Roberts, 30.
In the case against Hedlund, Venegas and Castillo are seeking damages.
