Pricing for Genesis GV60 will start above $100,000 before on-road costs in Australia.
On the back of leaked last weekGenesis has fully confirmed pricing and specs for its twin e-GMP with Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6. The GV60 AWD valuable 103,700 USD before goingwith AWD Performance to start at 110,700 USD before going.
That makes it $27,000 more expensive than the flagship Ioniq 5 and $21,000 more than the Kia EV6 GT-Line AWD with which it shares its platform.
Like both of those cars, the GV60 supports 350kW DC fast charging and features smart vehicle payload technology that allows owners to run external devices using the vehicle’s lithium-ion battery.
Two GV60 models will be offered, starting with AWD and expanding to Performance AWD, with matte paint (Performance exclusive) as the only option.
When it launches in September, GV60 will take over Tesla Model Y Performance. It is less than one BMW iX3 or Audi e-tronalong with Genesis itself’ GV70 gets electrified.

Powertrain
The base GV60 AWD has 74kW front and 160kW rear motors, for a combined power output of 234kW. The peak combined torque is 605kW.
The GV60 Performance AWD has a 180kW motor on both axles for a total power output of 360kWand the combined maximum torque of 700Nm.
In Acceleration Mode, which primes the engines to deliver peak power in 10 seconds, the fastest GV60 hits 100km/h in 4.0 seconds from a standstill.
Both models have a 77.4kWh lithium-ion battery pack.
Range
GV60 AWD has a claimed range of 470km in the WLTP test cycle, while Performance is less than 4 km with 466km range.
Both models have the same battery and the same 800V architecture that allows them to charge at 350kW when connected to a DC public fast charger. That means it can charge from 10 to 80% in 18 minutes.
The GV60 also features V2L technology, allowing owners to plug devices into the vehicle and run them on 3.6kW of power. The same technology features on the EV6 and Ioniq 5.
However, unlike its brothers Hyundai and Kia, Genesis says the GV60 can pre-condition the battery for more efficient fast charging at DC stations.
Safety
The Genesis GV60 has yet to be tested by Euro NCAP or ANCAP. However, its platform members have all earned five-star ratings.
The GV60 has eight airbags, including a central front airbag. The standard active safety kit includes:

Measures of Genesis GV60 4515mm long, 1890mm wide and 1580mm highwith one Wheelbase 2900mm.
Confirmed boot space is 432 liters with the rear seats in place, and there’s an extra 20L of storage for cables under the bonnet.
Service and Warranty
The GV60 comes with a five-year, unlimited-kilometer warranty. It also comes with a host of owner benefits designed to attract potential buyers to the Genesis lifestyle.
Five years of free maintenance and Genesis will collect your vehicle when it’s time for service. There’s also 10 years of free roadside assistance, and buyers can choose between 5 years of free charging with Chargefox or a free home charger and installation.
