German exports to non-EU countries decline in December 2023
The value of the goods exported to these third countries in December 2023 amounted to €57.2 billion, following seasonal and calendar adjustment. This marks a decrease from the exports recorded in the same period last year.
In terms of original values without seasonal and calendar adjustment, exports to third countries stood at €53 billion in December 2023. This figure represents a 9.2 per cent decrease compared to the same month a year earlier, indicating a significant downturn in Germany’s trade with non-EU nations, as per Destatis.
Germany’s exports to non-EU countries fell by 4 per cent in December 2023 compared to November 2023, with adjusted exports valued at €57.2 billion, according to Destatis.
This decline represents a decrease from the previous year.
Original values show exports at €53 billion in December 2023, a 9.2 per cent drop from the same month last year.
