Germany’ BASF introduces Next-Gen refinish coatings in Asia Pacific
These new products have received approval from leading automotive OEMs, demonstrating their sustainability and engineering quality. BASF Coatings introduces a new portfolio of eco-efficient clearcoats and primers. With reduced CO2 emissions and enhanced productivity, these coatings meet the need for sustainability. Launching in Asia Pacific markets in 2024, they provide quick drying solutions and streamline workflows, reinforcing BASF's commitment to leading the industry in sustainability.

Building on the successful launch of Glasurit 100 Line and RM's AGILIS basecoats in 2020, with VOC (volatile organic compounds) values lower than 250 g/l, our latest coatings BASF further expand the environmentally friendly options available to the auto repair industry. These innovative coatings feature rapid UV-A and air-dry solutions directly on the metal, saving time and money.
The new product portfolio, under the Glasurit AraClass and RM Pioneer Series, will be gradually introduced to the Asia Pacific market in 2024. At the same time, auto body shops are looking for effective solutions , one can reasonably expect the Glasurit ProClass and RM Advance Series, with clear coats and primers that are easy to use and designed to improve workflow, to also be rolled out in 2024.
