Meanwhile, anti-tank mines appear to have come from the Bundeswehr stockpiles.
Modern MATADOR (Wirkmittel 90) weapons use a 90mm warhead, which can operate from a very short range (20m) to twice the current effective combat range of equivalent weapons, up to 1,200m. .
The DM22 is one of the latest versions of the German PARM terrain mine that fires a small fin stabilized missile.
The mine was mounted on a small tripod, allowing it to move through 360 degrees, raise 90 degrees and lower it -45 degrees. This mine is manually replaced and has an equip delay of five minutes. It can be detonated by command or by fiber optic trigger, which activates the mine when it is crushed.
DM31 is an anti-tank mine using electronic fuel. The mine is circular, with a large Misznay Schardin effect warhead in the center of the mine, with the sensing and fueling electronics located in dead space above the primary charge.
