An Israeli farmer has entered the Guinness World Records after he planted the largest strawberry on record.
At 289g, it was declared the world’s largest after Chahi Ariel spent a year raising it.
The strawberries were picked at Ariel’s family farm near Netanya, central Israel in February 2021 and have been stored in the freezer ever since.
Mr. Ariel said: “We waited a year for the results. We kept it in the freezer for a year.
