A new batch of documents allege that Cory MonteithWho tragically passed away in 2013relapsed just a few weeks before dying from delighted His co-star forced him to try drinking at a party. According to the identity document Price of joyMonteith “resented” the idea of alcohol, but was forced to agree with his co-star, which ultimately “put him on a path of destruction”.

The biggest bombshell came from Monteith’s hairdresser, Dugg Kirkpatrick, who worked in ‘s hair department delighted Season 3. He hinted that an unnamed actor might be responsible for Monteith’s relapse, which led to his death.
Kirkpatrick says that after he left the show, most of the boys still visited him for a haircut — including Monteith, who scheduled a stylist appointment just weeks before his death.
Kirkpatrick said: “He was completely clean until he asked me to cut my hair. “He doesn’t drink, he doesn’t have any drugs on him. But then finally, in the last few days I saw him, he was different. He was under the influence of alcohol.”
Kirkpatrick says he was friends with Monteith after he left delightedand that the actor would occasionally confide in him about difficulties while he continued filming the Fox series. The last haircut, Kirkpatrick alleges, was one of the most troublesome.
He said he was at a party and didn’t drink, and he wanted to drink but he knew he shouldn’t, he said. “That night, a certain actor said to him, ‘If you want to drink, you should have one. I will be here, you can trust that I will always be here.’”
The stylist went on to say it was a bad decision, a close acquaintance “would never say that to anyone sober,” and Monteith had just come out of rehab.
“That confused him and drove him crazy. But he did drink, he started drinking because he got permission from the person he loved,” added Kirkpatrick. “He was frustrated, but he also took the lead. It set him on a path of destruction.”
Just weeks later, Monteith was found dead at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel in Vancouver from a “mixed drug intoxication” that included heroin and alcohol, as well as codeine and morphine. Before he starred on delightedMonteith had a history of substance abuse in adolescence. He was in rehab for just four months before his death.
Kirkpatrick did not name any of his co-stars who allegedly pushed Monteith back into drinking.
He also discusses the strain in Michele’s relationship with Monteith. The co-stars are said to have started dating around 2012.
“I think Cory’s embarrassment has a lot to do with his relationship with Lea Michele,” Kirkpatrick said. “I didn’t know that she was a friend. I think she got involved with him because he was on a TV show.
But Monteith had other difficulties at the time, including the fact that he wanted to expand his résumé and star in movies, his roommate Justin Neill claimed. The actor was “sad” because he had to refuse because delighted filming sessions and live concerts, although he was “sick and tired” of singing songs.
“I especially remember this after Season 2, when he wanted to enjoy some part of his life, but he just couldn’t stop going, going, going,” Neill said. “Cory seems more and more neurotic and isolated.”
Furthermore, Monteith’s friend and actor Stephen Kramer Glickman said that delighted the star confided in him when he was “stressed about dancing” and “reaching the level of everyone else on the show.” delighted Director of photography Christopher Baffa also stated that the struggle to meet the demands of the show may have “exacerbated” the problem and led to Monteith’s relapse.

“My first reaction was to blame,” Glickman said. “The person I immediately blamed was not him. I still feel like I have someone to blame.”
Price of joy yes face backlash because of the controversial premise that led to the so-called “curse” behind Ryan Murphy’s hit teen show. All three parts of Price of joy will launch consecutively January 16 at 9 p.m. ET on ID and will be available to stream the same day on Discovery+.
