Goldman Sachs Introduces New Employee Benefits Including Retirement Due to Miscarriage
New Delhi: Goldman Sachs Group has announced new benefits for its employees, including 20 days of paid leave in the event of a miscarriage. The multinational investment bank said the measures were aimed “against employee burnout.”
Goldman Sachs says it “will provide 20 days of ‘Family Care Leave’ with pay for miscarriage (applicable to self, spouse or surrogacy) loss of pregnancy) as well as lose a family member, including your spouse, partner, or child.”
For members not in immediate family, the leave period will be five days, it added.
The bank has also introduced a global leave program for long-term employees. The program provides 6 weeks of unpaid leave for employees with 15 years of service and an additional 2 weeks for each five years of service with the company thereafter.
